Understand your health inside and out
Through our innovative Tasso blood collection technology, you'll gain valuable insights into your unique health profile. These insights not only reveal how GLP-1s impact your body beyond shedding pounds but also allow us to personalise your weight loss journey based on your individual needs.
Your health and safety are our top priorities. Therefore, a blood test is mandatory at SheMed. This will allow us to establish a baseline understanding of your health, track your progress, and tailor a plan to optimise your results with GLP-1s. Monitoring key biomarkers will provide the necessary information for you to make informed decisions about your health and maximise the transformative potential of this treatment.

We measure
Diabetes risk
Type 2 diabetes is 20% higher in menopausal women. We prioritise regular screening for our weight loss members who are going through menopause.
Cardiovascular risk
60% of women aged 35+ have elevated cholesterol levels. Lowering cholesterol can dramatically improve your cardiovascular health.
Liver health
You have a greater risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease if you are over weight, have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
Thyroid health
60% of women diagnosed with hypothyroidism report significant weight gain.
A new approach to understanding your health
The Tasso blood collection device works by sticking the Tasso Button to the skin with a light adhesive. When the button is pressed, a vacuum forms and a small lancet pricks the surface of the skin. The vacuum draws blood out into the collection tube attached to the bottom of the Tasso Button. Collecting less than one teaspoon of blood (about 6mL).
Follow these simple steps as part of your blood collection process:
